Privacy Policy

1. No Data Collection

ExoDeck is designed with privacy as a core principle. The application does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or keyboard input to any external servers.

2. Local Operation Only

All macros, dashboard configurations, and settings are stored locally on your device's internal storage. This data never leaves your device unless you manually export it as an .edz file to share it.

3. Permissions

Bluetooth: Used solely to communicate with your host device (PC, Tablet, Mac) as a standard HID device.
Microphone: Used only when the Speech-to-Text (STT) feature is actively triggered by the user. Audio is processed by the speech recognition engine active on your device — either Android Speech Recognition (Google) or Samsung Bixby on supported Samsung devices. By default, these services may transmit audio to Google's or Samsung's servers for processing. To keep audio entirely on-device, download offline speech language packs in your Android Settings. ExoDeck itself never records, stores, or uploads audio.
Camera: Used only when the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature is actively triggered by the user to capture a still image of on-screen text. The image is processed entirely on-device using Google ML Kit and is never stored, transmitted, or shared. No photos are saved to the device gallery.

4. Third-Party Services

ExoDeck does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking scripts.

The Speech-to-Text feature relies on the speech recognition service configured on your device (Google Speech Recognition or Samsung Bixby). When operating in online mode, audio data is subject to Google's or Samsung's respective privacy policies. ExoDeck has no control over and takes no responsibility for the data practices of these third-party services.
