End User License Agreement (EULA)

ExoDeck is licensed to You (End-User) by Istvan Lovas, located and registered at Hauptstraße 101, Berlin, Berlin 10827, Germany ('Licensor'), for use only under the terms of this License Agreement.

By downloading the Licensed Application from Google's software distribution platform ('Play Store'), the Samsung Galaxy Store, or any other authorized update thereto (as permitted by this License Agreement), You indicate that You agree to be bound by all of the terms and conditions of this License Agreement, and that You accept this License Agreement. These platforms are referred to in this License Agreement as 'Services'.

The parties of this License Agreement acknowledge that the Services (including Google LLC and Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.) are not a Party to this License Agreement and are not bound by any provisions or obligations with regard to the Licensed Application, such as warranty, liability, maintenance and support thereof. Istvan Lovas, not the Services, is solely responsible for the Licensed Application and the content thereof.

1. THE APPLICATION

ExoDeck ('Licensed Application') is a piece of software created to emulate different Human Interface Devices via Bluetooth — and customized for Android mobile devices ('Devices'). It is used to turn an Android device into a wireless keyboard, mouse, trackpad, digitizer, and macro pad for any Bluetooth-connected device.

2. RISKS AND LIMITATIONS (HID OPERATIONS)

ExoDeck operates as a virtual Human Interface Device over Bluetooth. You explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• Nature of Inputs: The Software can and will send automated, manual, or voice-commanded inputs (keystrokes, mouse clicks) directly to your connected host devices.
• Unintended Actions: Incorrectly configured macros, accidental inputs, or software bugs could trigger unintended actions on your host device, which may result in data loss, the deletion of files, the execution of unwanted commands, or other system damage (e.g., in banking or security software).
• No Warranty Against Interoperability: Licensor does not guarantee compatibility with all host devices or applications.
• Bluetooth Connection Risks: Bluetooth connections can be subject to interference, unauthorized access, or loss of connectivity.
• Macro Security: ExoDeck is not designed for use in sensitive applications or critical environments. You are solely responsible for testing any macros or commands in a safe environment.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any actions taken by the host device as a result of inputs sent by ExoDeck.

3. SCOPE OF LICENSE

You may not share, sell, rent, lend, lease or otherwise redistribute the Licensed Application. You may not reverse engineer, translate, disassemble, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Licensed Application.

9. LIABILITY

In no event shall the developer be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including loss of profits, data loss, or hardware damage) arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software.

10. WARRANTY

The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", with all faults and without warranty of any kind. Licensor warrants that the Licensed Application is free of malware at the time of download.

17. APPLICABLE LAW

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of Germany. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Germany.

18. MISCELLANEOUS

Updates to the EULA: Licensor reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via in-app notifications or by updating this document.
